A short story concerning a soldier separated from his unit.
Border Lines is a good short story dealing with the difficult decisions facing soldiers in war. I found the central idea interesting as it’s never really been addressed in Aliens literature before, the reality of killing the infected. The story centres around a soldier who becomes separated from his unit and finds the roles reversed when he tries to rejoin them.
Artwork is good, suitably conveying the claustrophobic and fearful atmosphere.
This is the sort of short story that I prefer, based around a simple, solid concept told well, backed up by competent artwork.
